Amen brother, and unfortunately, the world's economy does not revolve around
the arts.  The degrees we have received do not have to dictate a
field-related job...there are plenty of opportunities to do what you truly
love by volunteering, visiting sites, etc.  If you can make a living on a 9-5
job and still have time to pursue the things that really make you
happy...that's fantastic.  Too many people I think get down on themselves for
not being able to secure a job in the field, or reap the financial rewards
that few do in this line of work.
