The University of Oregon Arts & Administration Program presents
John Frohnmayer, former chair of the National Endowment for the Arts,
and author of "Leaving Town Alive," in a series of 5 lectures:
"A Nation of Chickens: Our Forgotten First Amendment."
Mr. Frohnmayer will discuss first amendment issues in 5 morning lectures
on the Eugene, Oregon campus, November 13 - 17, 1995.
All lectures will be in Gerlinger Lounge, 9 AM to 10:50 AM.
The lectures are free and open to the general public.
Students may register for the full series for 1 credit (AAD 408/508, P/NP).

Mon., Nov. 13 "Hate Speech: Should Intolerance be Tolerated?"
Tues., Nov. 14 "Collisions on the Information Superhighway"
Weds., Nov. 15 "Amending the Constitution with Reckless Abandon"
Thurs.,Nov. 16 "Censorship: The Tyranny of the Majority"
Fri., Nov. 17 "Ethics, Politics and Art: Aliens to Each Other"
