     YES: "Advertise" SITES exhibitions availability on Museum-L. I
     just put my conference announcement up here, and I can't imagine
     anyone, no matter how Emily Post on the issue of netiquette,
     griping about that. Actually, I can imagine someone griping about
     it, but I don't think that they'd be right.

     My opinion: personal introductions from the consultant
     world can legitimately say what you do [even some bragging is OK
     if its honest], further advertising beyond that can be iffy.
     Non-profit services to the field, such as circulating exhibitions
     and conferences, even courses (though that might get a bit much)
     seem OK to me. I think that all of these announcements should be
     shorter than my conference announcments (sorry), with email
     contact for further information.
