I have measurements for a key basket given in the Journal of Eaarly Southern
Decorative Arts as 7 1/2 HOA, 6 1/2 LOA, 4 WOA.

I would say heighth on average, lengnth on average, etc. Items such as
baskets from natural fibers tend to be hygroscopic, absorbing moisture-and
expanding-in the summertime, loosing moisture-and shrinking-in the
wintertime. Also the basket is probably a little iregular in shape and
measuring at different points may give slightly different results.
