I, for one, would like to know more about what is happening in Australia
and New Zeland. During my occasional posts with questions our colleagues in
Australia have been generous with their time and contacts. Since it is
almost impossible to find an Australian museums directory in the U.S. for
contacts, and since their museums face (I think?) many of the same issues,
a different perspective would be most productive. For my two cents worth,
I'd like to see many more posts from outside the U.S. including Great
Britain, Europe and Asia.

As an aside, the Museum-L list is headquartered in New Mexico. As a former
New Mexican, our non-U.S. colleagues might like to know that much of the
U.S. does not know that NEW Mexico is in the U.S. Our museum frequently
received questions about whether passports were necessary, documents were
translated into Spanish before they were sent to us, we received payment
chits in pesos, and potential visitors occasionally asked about what
immunizations were necessary. The state magazine has a column called "One
of Our 50 is Missing."
