For those of you who have tried to access the National Center for
Preservation Technology and Training's fax-on-demand computer to get the
grants announcement for the 1996 PTTGrants and been unsuccessful, please
give it another try.  Right after the announcement went out, the computer
crashed (as they will at critical times!).  The system is online again
and can be accessed at
