The Texas Association of Museums had a session on "Gallery Theater:
Traditional Art Form in a Non-Traditional Space" at their annual meeting
in April. It was planned and chaired by Oliver Franklin, Education
Officer, Hidalgo County Historical Museum, Edinburg, Texas, phone
512/383-6911. In addition, demonstrations by various groups were given
between sessions throughout the conference. Oliver is planning the same
thing, as far as I know, for the TAM meeting in Dallas April 11-13, 1996.
