Many thanks to all those good people who have so far replied to my
enquiry entitled "Museums as Sick Buildings", posted to MUSEUM-L
yesterday!
I should make one small clarification to the original text.
My use of inverted commas around the word "sealed" [as in "sealed" building]
was meant to indicate that the architects were contemplating a ventilation
system with relatively minor air exchange, NOT no air exchange.
Indeed, the contemplated system would feature SOME makeup air, and positive
air pressure. But, the dilution factor would ultimately be very minimal.
Sorry for any confusion.
Please keep your comments coming. All replies received so far have been
very helpful.
Thanks.
