The AAMD puts out an annual salary survey which includes an extensive
list of titles and definitions for positions (so that we allreport
what our folks actually DO rather than by position.)  For that reason
I report our Curator of Exhibitions as  a Designer I or II (I forget),
we don't have a Chief Curator, and the Librarian vs Archivist straightens
itself out.  The survey is due Friday -- I'd wager it's on someone's desk
at most Art Museums around the country, as we are SUPPOSED to be working
on it this week.
