Does anyone know of an image - drawing, print, painting - of the Iowa prairie
in the mid 19th century - ca. 1840-1865?  Grinnell College historians are
preparing a publication for our sesquicentennial celebration and can not
locate an image of the Iowa prairie at that time.
 
I would be extremely grateful for any help.
