RMLane says: "We are sending to the above address and entering the
message "Subscribe Museum-L" However, we are having trouble."
 
Basically, you're sending to the wrong address. Send to:
 
[log in to unmask] (or [log in to unmask])
 
Send the message "subscribe museum-l <your name>", replacing <your name>
with your name. Sending to "museum-l@" (etc.) only posts messages to the
list. The subscriptions, etc, is all handled at "listserv@" (etc.).
