This is a follow-up announcement to my previous posting of the 1996 Colonial
Williamsburg Antiques Forum Program. Since this is the first time that we
are posting this on the internet please acknowledge this to the manager of
museum professional services when you apply.

                                             Antiques Forum
                                                             In
                                            Williamsburg, VA
                                          February 4 - 9, 1996

    For a number of years, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation has invited a
few graduate students in the Museum Studies, Art History, History, American
Studies, Public History, and related programs to apply for scholarships to
attend the Antiques Forum. Usually ten scholarships are awarded which
provide the selected students with a fully paid registration enabling them to
attend all Forum activities, including lectures, tours, and social events.

    Travel costs, room and board are at the student's expense.

    Applications will be accepted from graduate students who currently are
enrolled in the types of programs mentioned above, or students who recently
completed such programs. The 1996 Antiques Forum will be held February 4-9.

    Applications should include:

    * A letter of request for consideration;

    * A resume, including educational background, relavent training,
experience, and career goals;

    *A letter of recommendation (a joint letter is acceptable if several
students from the same program are applying).

    Deadline for the applications is November 10, 1995

    Each applicant should include a telephone number where he or she may be
reached over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. This is very
important!

    Applications should be sent to:
