I wonder if anyone can help me. For a current art history class I'm
researching two 19th Century lithographs. The first is an 1844
lithograph by Daumier. Originally appearing in Le Charivari, it shows
some kind of performer on stage, with a fragment of the orchestra showing
in the bottom right corner. The top caption reads "Les Carottes" while
the bottom caption/title reads "Carotte Dramatique (Couplet au public)."
The bottom caption is followed from some sort of text (presumably poetry)
in French (go figure). I have found it very difficult to find
information on this image, so anything that can be offered would be
appreciated.

The second image is a 1894 lithograph by Toulouse-Lautrec. Alternately
called "Judic," "Judic and Dihau," and "Woman Trying on a Corset," it
portrays Desire Dihau (bassoonist, composer, and cousin of Lautrec)
watching as some servant woman helps singer Anna Judic into a corset.
It's raisonne numbers are #56 (Deteil), #39 (Adhemar), and #54
(Winrock). I have been able to amass much information on the subject and
the print, including two other prints showing Dihau (one portrait and the
print "Pour Toi!..."). I have not found any other works showing Ms.
Judic. Does anyone know of other work showing these two people, or what
their specific relations to Lautrec might have been? Any kind of
information would be most helpful.

Thank you for your time in this matter. It is much appreciated.
