The North Carolina Museum of History is hosting a symposium entitled
"Southern Women adn the Learning Experience." The symposium takes
place at the Museum, 1 E. Edenton St., Raleigh on Monday, March 20, 1995.
The keynote address for this symposium will be presented by Dr. Elizabeth
Fox-Genovese, currently the Elenore Raoul Professor of History at Emory U.
in Atlanta. Panels and papers will be presented by national and regional
scholars as part of an educational outreach program associated
with the museum's North Carolina Women Making History exhibit.
Registration for the one-day conference is $25 and includes materials,
refreshments, lunch and reception. For information on registration,
