Associate Director of Development, Annual Giving
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago
The Associate Director organizes and directs the annual giving program for
the School, which solicits unrestricted gifts from alumni, parents, and
friends. Plans and directs the School's parents program. Oversees the
donor stewardship program for annual giving donors. Works with other
appropriate staff members as a task force to plan and set strategies for
all annual fund activity for the School. Also works with the vice
president and director to organize and staff the School's individual giving
program.
Qualifications:
* Two years experience in annual giving, preferably in an educational
or arts organization;
* Telefund, direct mail, and database experience essential;
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
* Experience working with volunteers preferable;
* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Compensation package:
* Salary: commensurate with experience
* Four weeks vacation;
* Employer-paid health, dental, disability, and life insurance;
* Full tuition reimbursement for courses at the School;
* Pension plan vested after five years.
* Free family admission to the Museum; free individual admission to
many area museums;
