I'm doing a research paper and would like to know if anyone knows of any
policies, books or recent articles (magazine/newspaper) regarding:
-The legal rights of museums when a piece in their collection was a
(known or suspected) war retribution or aquired by illegal means. Do you
know of any cases (situations) like this? Repercussions (should they
give it back)?
-How and if museums check the integrity of their donors when securing
acquisitions.
