Shasta Natural Science Association asks:
"Is there a way to tap into Biological Abstracts? "
Not for free, unfortunately (that I know of).
Otherwise, in the US you can get to it through several commercial databases of d
atabases including
Dialog, STN, Questel, OCLC, and MEDLARS. They
also sell a CD.
BIOSIS, the folks that put the abstracts together give
more details on their home page at:
http://www.biosis.org
FYI there's also a pretty incredible "WWW Virtual Library"
organized by subject (including biosciences) at:
http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/DataSources/bySubject/
Overview.html
Have fun!
