Dear Stacey,
I am also a graduate student and I came across the same decision
not so long ago. I came to the decision that having to learn two
foreign languages (as much as I dreaded it) would be more helpful
than not. In the long run, being multi-lingual, even if only on
a reading level, will enhance your position and strengthen your
vitae - it will give you an edge over the "average" applicant who
perhaps never bothered to learn French or German. But I can only
say this on a personal level- I really don't know the difference
between an MA and an MS as far as marketing is concerned.
