The National Museum of Australia, National Library of Australia, National
Gallery of Australia and Australian War Memorial in a Joint Middle
Management Program are investigating the use of Information Technology in
Cultural Institutions.
A report will be prepared on The Use of Information Technologies in Cultural
Institutions. Recommendations will be made on the best use of these
technologies. Another objective of the program is to set up a network of
professionals with interests in Information Technologies.
As representatives of these institutions, we would appreciate responses to
the attached survey. The survey will help us to evaluate where the different
technologies are being used within the Cultural Institutions. If this is not
your area of expertise it would be much appreciated if the survey form is
passed on to the appropriate member of staff at your Institution.
The completed survey form should be returned to the sender by 28 July 1995.
Your prompt response will be much appreciated as this project is working to
a deadline.
