Roger,
I suggest that you think about using VCIs as a corrosion inhibitor for your
computers. As I'm sure you are aware, the guts of a computer is a myriad of
bimetallic couples, and usually solder flux residues. Then add to that the
ingestion of dust during its operation and deterioration products of
decomposing plastics & rubbers and you have the perfect recipe for
corrosion.
The Cortec Corporation make several products designed for inhibiting
electronic equipment (VCI-101, VCI-110, 1-MUL, Cor-Pak Tablet). Their
Australian agent is Australian Challenge (ph no. (03) 3554944). One
drawback with VCIs is the need to have a closed environment, so you will
probably need to bag, or otherwise seal, your computers, and this will also
keep the dust at bay. It might be a good idea to vacuum the insides of the
computers to remove as much dust as possible before you inhibit.
Good luck
