          I sort of assumed (and I think this discussion happened here
          several months back) that Bill Gates was thinking of his
          home virtual art gallery more like a college kid thinks of
          posters than like an art lover thinks of actual objects.
 
          My sense is that he bought the Leonardo Codex more for it's
          intellectual importance than for its artistic interest. I
          think that he intends to send it out on loan to museums for
          the most part (I seem to have read that somewhere.)
