In upstate Nw York in Adorondacks Natl Park somewhere was a super
museum. Small, devoted to local native lore and natural history.
My family visited it about 15 years ago. What made it special was
that it helped us identify the flora and fauna in the
neighborhood AND the terrific man who showed us around. He was a
Native American, keyed right into our toddler and told us many
legends and customs of the area.
Not hokey, not unprofessional. Homey and well presentated
