>Last spring, I downloaded a wonderful list of museum web sites you had
>collected. Since then, I have shared that list with co-workers and educational
>leaders in Georgia. Would it be possible to receive an updated list of sites?
>Thank you for compiling this information and making it available to the rest of

John,
The list has grown too large to be maintained as a single list. You can
access the list anytime at http://www.usc.edu/lacmnh/webmuseums
I'll also eMail you the text. Let me know if you have any problems
receiving the text files!
I'll forward a copy of this to the museum list, in case anyone else wants
an updated copy.
Jim

In August, 1992, the First Division Museum opened the doors
to its new, state of the art facility which portrays the
division's history. This new facility brings history to life
through interactive displays, videos and innovative exhibits.
A walk through the main gallery treats you to the sights and
sounds of division life at places such as the French village
of Cantigny, Omaha Beach, and a Viet Nam jungle. This new
facility also includes the Col. Robert R. McCormick Research
Center and a traveling gallery of temporary exhibits.

The exquisite mansion on the Cantigny estate was the home of
Colonel McCormick and was established as a museum for public
enjoyment. The house has been preserved in McCormick's style
and is decorated with many fine European and Oriental
antiques. Guided tours treat visitors to a glimpse into the
living, entertainment and servants quarters of the
McCormicks. Tours begin from the Gold Theater which is
located on the east side of the building.
