We need any help or suggestions regarding the preservation of aquatic plants
for a travelling museum display on wetland habitats. We hope to be able to
mount the
preserved plants in solid transparent polymer resin. Ideally the material
should look as realistic as
possible for the education of the public. We have heard of a material called
PEG
polyethelene glycol used by some people but no one knows where to get the
stuff or whether
it is compatible with epoxy or acrylic resin.
