Hi. A while back I requested recommendations of favorite books for non-
museum professionals to use (not too technical etc.) as i was working on a
biblio list for a collections manager friend. I didn't get any response at
the time, but, even so, maybe some people on the list might be interested in
the list i have worked up. it is limited to books available locally.
however, i'm still interested in additional recommendations. (I can always
look at something by means of interlibrary loan and then make a recommendation
to museum to acquire book.) also, if any of the below are just horrible in
your opinion, let me know that too, please. thanks. (i'm not including my
