    Our listserv mail from Bitnet sites is restored.  It did,
in fact, have to do with dropping our affiliation with Bitnet.
Don't know what the actual fix turned out to be.
 
    But thanks for your help!  Instead of 6 or 7 messages this
morning, I had 381!  Yikes.
