Thanks for your support.  Naturally criticism of the current
state of affairs is meant to provide impetus to provide more
meaningful methods of access.  The fact that it can be done at
all is itself phenomenal, but, as you point out, there is a
long road ahead.
 
What bothers me is the hype that has accompanied everyone's
newley acquired access to the internet (my own included).  If I
were to do online research now, in my own field and used
current available on line resources, I'd be wasting my time.
 
But as a toy, a diversion--what great fun--and what promise!
