PATTON MUSEUM
I just read Lora Urbanelli's response to Helen. As another
non-conservator, I can reinforce Lora's comments on carpeting. We are in
our 19th year of living with carpeting in storage areas. (Built for one
purpose and used for another.) Carpeting is the worst collector of dust
and dirt I know. Waxed tile is the best I know. Sealed and waxed
concrete is ugly but good. John Purdy
