Greetings.  Our office administers surveys on machine-readable forms
(ala the SAT, using Number 2 pencils, etc.).  We are unhappy with our
current software vendor, and are looking for a replacement.  Specifically,
we are looking for a vendor who sells and services both survey design
and software that will run a scanner and translate the pencil marks on a
survey sheet into data. The programs can run on either Mac or PC platforms.
 
Does any one use or know of such a system?  Please send your recommendations,
observation or advertisements to me privately.
