I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in Ancient Studies. I will
receive my B.A. in May and am planning to attend graduate school in museum
studies. I want to work as an educator in a museum, but I am not sure how to
go about it. I am trying to get into a museum education program, but my
question is this: Will I be able to get a job in museum education if I get
only a general degree in museum studies?
I know that the answer will depend greatly on the size of the museum, the
region, current needs, etc., but I am hoping that I can get a general idea.
Thanks very much.
