has a catalog of books, gifts, and numerous mushroom kits from the
usual Oyster bag to weird stuff, many spores available, cultivation
supplies, etc.
 
Do you know about the hobby journal/newsletter called Mushroom?
 
Locally in Seattle there is the Puget Sound Mycological Society.
I expect there are many little clubs all over the country that
could be used for expert advice.
