Call AAM for an update on the accreditation book. Suggest you try Valerie
Wheat, chief Librarian at the Museum Reference Center in the Smithsonian
for a list of bibliographies for reference in a Museum Studies
Program. The body of literature has grown rapidly for the past 10 years,
and there is a core list of basic books for museum study. You might
compare notes with some of the other museum studies programs too.
