In response to the Baltimore City Life Museums, a good way to review systems an
d engage in a bit of comparative shopping is through the Museum Computer Networ
k meeting. This year it will be held in Washington, DC (just 30 miles from Bal
timore). We expect 20 or more museum related vendors, including Willoughby, Ve
rnon, Gallery Systems, Questor and others. The conference will be held from Au
gust 31-September 3 (the vendor hall is only open through September 2). An add
ed benefit is the opportunity to meet with users of teh systems to find out the
ir responses to various options.
