BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The exhibits specialist provides basic assistance to the
production functions of the Office of Interpretive Programs,
including support to the Exhibits Production Specialist
(Graphics) in the production of graphic elements such as title
panels, support to the Exhibition Production Specialist
(Cabinetwork and Fabrication) in the construction of exhibition
components such as signage panels and fitted book cradles, and
support to the Exhibition Production Assistant (Matting and
Framing) in the cutting and assembling of mats and frames.
Assists in the maintenance of shop machinery and tools used to
produce cabinets, casework, pedestals, wall panels, etc.
