There is a lot about Art museum theft, but I am interested in statistics and learning more about what kinds of theft occur at history museums, in particular, smaller history museums (county and area museums). Are their useful articles/reports on the subject? Employee/volunteer vs visitor theft. What objects are reported as being the most stolen? Most of the reports are for Art museums or on very big history museums. Any thoughts and links to articles/journals would be appreciated.
