I wonder if anyone out there would be willing to recommend one or two
titles that are "must haves" in terms of manuals for curating a small
museum/heritage site. The site is the Britannia Heritage Shipyard in
Steveston, BC. We are currently stabilizing the historic buildings and
hope to get the shipyard operations running again, but we also have a
small collection and will be doing some static displays. As the yard is
largely volunteer run and the few staff we do have know next to nothing
about history, heritage or the running of museums or heritage sites, I
thought it might be a good idea to purchase a reference work or two.

Suggestions would be most appreciated.
