The National Museum of American History's American Indian
Program, directed by Rayna Green, has produced _American
Indian Sacred Objects, Skeletal Remains, Repatriation and
Reburial: A Resource Guide, 1994_. This update of a
previous guide offers a wide range of references over the
spectrum of opinion and action on the care, handling and
disposition of American Indian materials. It contains a
general bibliography and lists of films, periodical publications
and organizations that deal regularly with repatriation and
related issues.
The free publication can be obtained by contacting Rayna Green,
American Indian Program, National Museum of American History,
Room 5119 MRC 638, Washington, D.C. 20560.
