Hi!
Our gallery will be traveling a Tibetan exhibit that contains 46 objects including 10 thangkas ranging in size from 64 (H) x 39-1/2 (W) to 38 (H) x 23-1/2 (W) inches. The thangkas are cloth on the top and bottom with elaborate painted images on cotton in the center. I’m not quite sure how to go about packing them in an easy, safe, and compact way. One of the institutions will be picking up the entire exhibit in a cargo van that has an interior measurement of 120 (L) x 50 (W) x 70 (H) inches. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to pack them?
Thank you
Christie
