Hi friends. In addition to Pannier, the sign companies used by a lot of us who do NPS, Fish & Wildlife, Forest Service, or state park/nature center outdoor interpretive signs are:
Fossil Graphics (http://fossilgraphics.com/) in upstate New York; iZone in Texas; Folia (now systeme) in canada://systemeinc.com/en/portfolio/wayfinding-signs-desert/; and KVO in California (http://www.kvoindustries.com/) Pannier has been around a long time also. I've recently experimented with aluminum signs made locally (I'm in Atlanta) for an environmentally focused client who wanted recyclable materials. Limitations on full color with aluminum, however. We'll see how these hold up over time.
hope this helps
