What is the Horse Outside?
Building on the success last year's Da Horse Outside launched by The
Rubberbandits, the Limerick Corridor Art Programme in association with
The Hunt Museum and Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP)
will launched the newest Horse Outside on 30 June 2012 at noon! The
Horse Outside 2 is on view in The Hunt Museum’s forecourt throughout the
summer for all to enjoy.
The newest life-size horse takes its decorative inspiration from The
Hunt Museum’s sacred/religious art, and evolved from a programme of
workshops and visits to The Hunt Museum. Whether dressing up in
historical costumes, experimenting with mono-printing, graphic design or
paint or composing a rap about their experience, the young people from
the Limerick Youth Service and Southill Outreach have been on a journey
of creative discovery.
Come see the horse for yourself! Children's activity booklet and guide
are available at The Hunt Museum!
