Dear Ms Ann N’Gadi

I am writing in reference to the symposium on the topic Polymer composite
materials (aka PLASTIC) given by the Smithsonian’s Museum Conservation
Institute on 7-8 June 2012.

At the National Museum of Cultural History in Pretoria, South Africa, we are
currently experiencing considerable problems with the degradation of plastic
artifacts – especially in the toy collection.

As so little information on this topic is available to me, I would be
grateful if you could please send me general information on this subject
(summaries of presentations, etc.) and any other relevant material at my
e-mail address: [log in to unmask]

Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely
Corine Meyer
Curator of toy collection
