A floor that you can clean thoroughly by whatever methods available
it best. If you can have cabinets that are on wheels or are easily
moved to clean under them either in your storage or class area it helps
 but if the powers that be say  you must have carpet try for carpeting
that can be removed (area rugs or the equivalent). This allows you to clean
the floor underneath as well as clean, shampoo the rugs.
