Looking for someone who can help a member of our Historical Society.

She has a collection of old letters & papers - may be Civil War era up
through WWI - she is not sure - but they were papers inherited that
originated with a grandfather or great uncle. She tried to open one
letter but it began to crumble so she stopped and is asking if there is
someone in the region that can help preserve the letters.

We are in Atchison KS about 30 miles north of downtown Kansas City.

Any suggestions for someone that can help her preserve these items?
Thanks.
