Hello, Listers!
Just wanted some opinions on this issue- either from personal or
professional experience:
Can an exhibit have too many interactives? I am designing a new
exhibit and have lots of ideas (some mine, some from other staff) for
interactives. Most are informal- desk drawers to be opened, a mailbox
full of postcards to be snooped in, etc. Some are more formal- a
trivia quiz, a scrapbooking exercise. I *love* interactives, but am
perfectly comfortable passing them by if they don't appeal to me. Are
large numbers of interactives overwhelming to most people? How many
is "too many"?
Thanks!
