Hi all,
At the Milwaukee Public Museum, we have a policy that children must be accompanied by someone at least 16 years old to visit the museum without an adult.
We don't specify the adult since we have aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc; who bring children into the museum. We have had to contact parents of children who are in the museum by themselves by bringing the young guest to the visitor services desk and calling their parent or guardian to come to museum to either stay with their children or take them home.
Our policy is clearly listed in our Visitor Conduct Policy which is posted on the main concourse of the museum, a huge help for sharing our policies with our guests.
Good luck,
Lizbeth DeValkenaere
