You should have asked a local museum to throw a party for you.
Look what is the Royal British Columbia Museum doing in nearby
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada:

Subject: Gallery rental tonight

Interfalk Canada is a medical group that is presently in a conference at the
Victoria Conference Centre. They have rented the entire museum tonight for
a reception for their group of approximately 500! Their event doesn't start
until 7 pm, but you may see museum staff setting up the Friends Gallery
during the day, or caterers and musicians dropping off their equipment.

It will be quite an extravagant event! Tony Eng will be doing a magic show
in China Town, London Bobby will be playing the piano and singing in Old
Town, a Dixieland band will be playing in the Friends Gallery, a drum and
keyboard player will be playing in the Coastal Forest area, a guitar and
violin player will be makin' music in the Goldrush area, and Native dancers
will be dancing and singing in the Totem gallery! It should be quite an
entertaining evening!

Subject: Last night's gallery rental

Last night's event was a huge success! As it turns out, this medical group
was comprised of bowel disease researchers. (So many staff were curious that
I thought I would tell all!)

I received excellent comments about the museum in general, and many
compliments on the Friends gallery. (It looked great once the lights were
set and the Dixieland band was playing!)

Thanks also to all of the smiling security guards who went out of their way
to help the guests find their way around the museum, entertain children, ...
