The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH is looking for a museum professional to full fill our position opening of "Collections Specialist." This position will coordinate our traveling exhibit program and our Museum Volunteer program.  See below for more details:

Collections Specialist

General Description of Duties:
-	Assist and support the duties and objectives of the Museum Collection Department 
-	Supervise and administrate the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Museum Volunteer Program 
-	Administrate, sell and market the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s traveling exhibit program and other collections outreach efforts 
-	Assist in installation of exhibits in and outside the Pro Football Hall of Fame
-	Assist in the acquisition and registration of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Museum Collection 

Responsibilities: 
-	Supervise the day to day activities of Museum Volunteers
-	Recruit and train new Museum Volunteers 
-	Assist the Collections Curator in developing Museum Volunteer Programming  
-	Administrate and coordinate contract agreements, scheduling, shipping, installation, and de-installation of  Pro Football Hall of Fame traveling exhibits 
-	Market and sell Pro Football Hall of Fame traveling exhibits to new clients 
-	 Assist the Collections Curator in the acquisition of potential new artifacts and documents       
-	Travel to NFL Cities to help teams coordinate their collections programming 
-	Assist in the installation of new exhibits and displays at the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Education:
Degrees: Master’s Degree required
Preferred area of concentration: Museums or Sports Industry 

Work Experience:
-	Experience in Museums or Halls of Fame required.
-	Experience in the installation of exhibits and displays.  
-	Sales experience preferred.  
-	Experience working as a volunteer or working with volunteers preferred. 

Personal Qualifications:
-	Ability to multi-task
-	Attention to detail; well organized
-	In-depth interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to relate to all types of people
-	Ability to use standard exhibit preparation tools and equipment
-	Detailed understanding of Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Other Microsoft Office Programs
-	Sales skills
Salary
-	$25,000
