Hi,
We've had the same problems at our museum with 1/8" Sintra panels. We've tried gluing horizontal and vertical support pieces to the back, but it still warps. Using a thicker substrate has solved the problem, but of course it costs more. I've recently come across a product called Komatex, which is supposed to be a less expensive alternative to Sintra. It has the same smooth surface as Sintra, but there's more air bubbles in the middle. This should make it more rigid. I've not used it, and would like to hear any feedback from those of you who have.
Best of luck,
Lee Goodan
