** Kansas City art museum announces 400 donated works
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City has announced a major gift
from dozens of patrons, including its single largest donation

fetch thousands of US dollars in auctions, but the Mah Meri tribe, and their
wood carving tradition, are increasingly falling victim to Malaysia's

Efforts to preserve the ancient rock art of Utah's famed Nine Mile Canyon

The last speaker of an ancient tribal language has died in the Andaman
Islands, breaking a 65,000-year link to one of the world's oldest cultures
