Hello Natalie,
Your best effort with Facebook should be to build your online community i.e.
your Fan base. It should be part of a defined online strategy, not a
"one-off" effort and each online element should be integrated with the
other.

To be frank, the cost benefit analysis of Facebook and Google advertising
is not flattering. We have used Facebook advertsing over recent years with
various clients and the real returns were negligible.

Hi everyone!
I work at a medium sized museum with a small advertising budget. We are
planning a lot of great programs and events for 2011, and I am hoping the
community will show up to partake in them. I have read that advertising on
Facebook is useful, but I just wanted to ask you all what you think. Do any
of you have experience with Facebook advertising? Is it worth the money?
Did you see an increase in community awareness?
I would greatly appreciate any ideas and information you can provide.
Thanks! And happy holidays!
